Spring is a very special season for the province of Punjab because it is the time when flowers blossom and crispy winter is over. The plains of Punjab wear green surface and people get in a more jovial and happy mood. Floral Exhibitions and musical get-togethers are organized in various cities f the province to share the aura of changing weather. In Lahore several flower shows are arranged most importantly in Bagh e Jinnah and Race Course Park. Canal Mela is a special event at the Canal of Lahore with artistic display of beautiful floats lit up colorfully at night and attracting crowds of Lahorites with families and children to witness and celebrate.
