The word Cholistan is derived from the Turkic word chol, which means "desert". Cholistan thus means Land of the Desert. The people of Cholistan lead a semi-nomadic life, moving from one place to another in search of water and fodder for their animals. The dry bed of the Hakra River runs through the area, along which many settlements of the Indus Valley Civilization have been found. The desert also has an annual Jeep rally, known as TDCP Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally. It is the biggest motor sports event in Pakistan

Day 01

  • 07.30 am:Departure for Bahawalpur En-route short break at Shahiwal, Lunch at Night Bridge Mian Chanun by pass or Cit Gate Hotel Khane-wal
  • 03.30 pm: Arrival and check-in Hotel, Bahawalpur. (Travel time: 6.30 Hrs.)
  • 04.00 pm: After fresh in up visit Bahawalpur city, Dinner at Noor Mehal (optional) Bahawalpur pur,O/N at Bahawal pur .

Day 02

After Breakfast, Departure for Derawar, arrival and visit of Derawar fort, Shahi Mosque, Royal Graveyard lunch at Derawar Drive back to Bahawalpur,O/N stay at Bahawalpur ( Travel time.06.00 hrs both way)

Day 03

09.00 am Departure for Uch Sharif, visit of Bibi Jiwandi’and other s tombs etc. Departure for Head Punjnad, arrival at head Punjnad, short stay and Lunch at the Head Punjnad. Departure for Bahawalpur. (Travel time both way 05 hours )

  • 03.00 pm:Arrival at Bahawalpur, Visit of Bahawalpur Old City, Shopping Area like embroidery, Traditional jewelery.
  • 06.30 pm: Back to Hotel for rest and fresh-n up.
  • 08.00 pm: Dinner and , over night at Bahawalpur.

Day 04

Full day excursion to Rahim yar khan visit Bhong Mosque is located at the distance of 200 kilometers from Bahawalpur and 50 kilometers from Rahim Yar Khan in the village of Bhong, Sadiqabad Tehsil and is well known for its exquisite design and architectural beauty with gold leaves carved for the intricate decorative patterns and the stylish calligraphic work. . It was designed and constructed over a period of nearly 50 years (1932–1982) and won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 1986.

Pattan Minara, a minaret which dates back to ancients Indus Valley Civilization. There was a city settled on the bank of ancient Hackra River. But as the river changed its course, the area became arid so abandoned. The remnants of the civilizations can still be seen today. and etc This structure is believed to be a 5,000-year-old Buddhist monastery of which only a single burnt sienna column remains about eight kilometers from Rahim Yar Khan. (Travel time 07.00 hours both way) drive back to Bahawalpur.

Day 05

Departure for Multan, ,arrival and check in Hotel ,after rest and fresh en up Visit of Shah Rukn-e- Alam Shrines at Qasim Bag Visit of Hussain Aghahi Bazaar popular for traditional Embroideries handicrafts, blue pottery. Over night at Multan. (Travel time. 02 hours)

Day 06

After Breakfast visit Library suggested by ASG and Birth Place of Afghan King “Ahmad Shah Abdali’ later departure for Lahore, en-route visit Harappa Museum visit Museum and sites . Lunch at shahiwal continue journey. Arrival at Lahore. Travel time.05 hours)
